How Our Mulch Is Made
Step one of our mulch manufacturing process starts with collecting and receiving high-quality scrap wood products from whole tree land clearing, landscape companies, and sawmills. None of the wood is treated, such as a pallet or railroad ties, used, or permitted at any point in our manufacturing. The next step is that our stumps, logs, wood chips, and brush are processed through an industrial grinder to a specified size, stockpiled, and aged to produce a rich, dark, natural mulch. Our black and brown mulch is produced by mixing a non-toxic and environmentally friendly dye with water that is applied during the grinding process to ensure complete and uniform application. The end result is a beautiful and natural non-dyed mulch that is rich and dark in color and will settle to a cocoa brown or a color-enhanced product that will help it hold its vibrant color for the entire season.

Finally, we have engineered soils that are manufactured from sand, silt, clay, and organic amendments like compost that can be customized and designed for your specific needs.
